Master Franchises
What can you tell me about the
Master Regional franchises?
Being a Master Regional franchise requires a different
skill set than a local franchisee. Since we expect
the average Master territory to have approximately
50 local franchisees, Master franchisees need to have
management skills, sales and marketing knowledge,
as well as the ability to train and support the local
franchisees in business development and client procurement.
We anticipate many of the master Regional franchises
having at least 2 owners (or a husband and wife team),
one person with managerial, sales and marketing skills
and the other with computer training knowledge. Some
of those who are interested in a Master Regional franchise
may also want to buy and operate a local franchise.
We would encourage that concept.
The Master Regional franchisee will receive 1 week
of training at our Ashland office, there will also
be 2 weeks of continuing training which will involve
watching us train their first local franchises and
a third week for us to watch them train their second
local franchisee. In addition, we will spend 7 days
working "in the field" in their territory
showing them how to find and recruit new franchisees.
We suggest the Master Regional franchisee also operate
with a very low overhead with possibly one assistant.
They will be required to travel throughout their territory.
We believe they will need a minimum of $75,000, which
includes the $50,000 price of the territory.
We will pay the Master Regional franchisees 50% of
the initial franchise fee (currently $12,500) within
10 days after the local franchisee has been trained
plus 50% of the 7% continuing on-going fees paid by
the local franchisees in the Master Regions territory.
The Master Regional franchisees will also pay 6%
of their gross income into the Mass Advertising account.
It is our goal that all Master franchisees procure
not less than 10 new local franchisees per year and
that the local franchisees have a goal of making not
less than $300,000 per year after the second year.
Are there minimum fees for Local Franchisees?
Yes. Although our goal is for each Local Franchise
gross between $100,000 and $300,000 annually, after
the 18th month in business each Local Franchisee is
required to pay not less than $500 per month. You,
as the Master Franchisee, will receive a minimum of
$250 per month for every office open and operating
in your territory after their 18th month.
Do Master Franchisees have a minimum number of Local
Franchisees to procure?
Yes. Although our goal is that each Master franchisee
have up to 50 Local Franchises in their territory
as soon as possible, the minimum is 4 per year and
25 Local Franchisees which must be open and operating
within your territory after the 6th year.
